Erin Condren and my first {Giveaway}!

It's here, my friends! My very first giveaway!

First, I want to tell you what went down to make this happen.

Believe it or not, as much as I fight it, I am a "type A" personality. I like structure and order. I am a "place for everything and everything in it's place" kind-of-girl. My tupperware is stacked neatly and I have labeled drawers under every sink. I am Monica and I have come to terms with it. Part of being "that girl" is having the right tools to keep me sane, and with that, I bring you MY Erin Condren Life Planner.

Erin Condren Giveaway Mosaic

I am always on a mission to find the perfect planner. There needs to be plenty of room to write in my appointments, notes and task lists while having both flexibility and durability. Many times I have thrown my hands in the air with frustration at my planner's lack of features and with a quick flick of the wrist, tossed the planner into the garbage bin. Office Max. Staples. Target. Wal-Mart. Amazon. Etsy. You name it, I've scoured it for a planner worth its added weight to my purse.

A few months back, I came across a blog featuring Erin Condren's products. The colors were so bright. Happy. Fun. I was quite literally mesmerized by the kaleidoscope of gorgeous hues. For days all I could talk about was how beautiful her products were and how I wished I had my very own business so I could order some of her personalized stationary. I even went so far as to hog-tie my husband to the office chair and force him to look through her website with me, and that's when it happened. The most amazing happening of 2011 (ok, Little Miss Clara Mae came in 2011 too, so maybe this was the second most amazing happening): Erin Condren sold planners!

My heart leapt! My breath caught in my lungs! My knees went weak! I knew my life was about to change forever! Now, all I had to do was convince the hubs that my life would cease to exist without one of those magnificent, life-changing planners connected to my hip for all of 2012 and beyond! It took some massive eyelash-batting, but within a few weeks, my custom planner was on its way to my door. And trust me, I checked multiple times a day. Every car passing the house caused an uncontrollable urge to check the door. What if the UPS man had decided to drive his Prius instead of the massive, diesel guzzling truck?! I just couldn't take the chance!

When it arrived, the presentation exceeded my expectations. All wrapped in brightly colored tissue paper and delivered in an equally special designer box, my planner was far better than I ever could have imagined. It has space for planning by month, planning by day, planning by the sun! It has sections for weekly and monthly goals and tasks neatly tucked beside the colorful and crisp week-at-a-glance. The spiral binding allows me to easily fold one side under so I am looking at a single page, or leave the pages open, so I can see two consecutive sheets at a time while the planner lies flat. Trust me. Not all planners lie flat! In the back are folder pockets where I can store receipts and prescriptions and a zippered pouch, perfect for storing my stamps and friends' business cards. This planner is so beautiful and functional, that we purchased one for my best friend's graduation gift (she's crazy-picky about planners too!) I even went so far as to get an address book for me (which is just as fantastic as the planner, in case you were wondering!)

Look how saturated the colors are! Uber-gorge!

So, how would you like 25 Erin Condren bucks to spend on whatever your heart desires?? Amazing, right? I sent an email to the good people at Erin Condren asking if they could hook my readers up with something and they offered up a $25 gift certificate code! Erin Condren did not ask me to write this review and I received nothing for doing it, other than the $25 code for my readers, of course!

Here's how to enter:
