Yesterday was such a beautiful day! I was able to get some Comfort Quilters sewing done, but my favorite part of the day was going for a walk! It was in the 80s, but with a little breeze the heat is manageable.
Also, yesterday HAD to be a good day because I got these in the mail:
What?! How the heck did I get so lucky to get these amazing blocks?!?! Thank you to everyone who joined in the Japanese x and + Swap. These are lovely!
Now, on to my projects.
New Projects: NONE! I am awesome!! Ok. Just kidding. I may be planning to make a baby quilt for a friend who is due any day, but I haven't officially started aside from picking out a couple fabrics, so that doesn't count, right? RIGHT?!
Completed Projects:
-Stash Bee Paper Pieced Star block. Cindy of Spin the Bobbin is our mama this month and she has chosen to create a Quilt of Valor. I love this idea! To read more, check out her post here.
-Jennie's Scarf (and I made one for me too!)
-Stitch Tease strip: IN PROGRESS. But here's what I've made so far:
-I also started an impromptu quilt for Miss Maze. She only has two and one of them is too small for a play mat, so I am making her a new one. This one just needs binding. It is backed with the Peacock Lane fabric that is fussy cut here.
Linking up!
I see my block! I love that scarf you made, and your daughter's new quilt is really cute. Great fabrics!
