This weekend was nuts. Fantastic and nuts.
It kicked off with an awesome surprise in my mailbox: a fat quarter bundle of Woodland Wonderland from the wonderfully generous people over at Riley Blake! I submitted my baby book tutorial in hopes they would post it on their Facebook and/or blog, and what I got was both PLUS the fabric! So sweet. I can't wait to start creating with it.
Friday was our friends' son's second birthday. I bought him books. So... not as cool as the Mr. Potato Head he got, but every time I pick up Click, Clack Moo, I LOL. I'm sure he'll like them eventually.
Maze was stylin in her sunglasses!
Sunday we headed over to the zoo. It was Clara's first time and we spent most of it near the petting zoo. She didn't want to pet the animals, oh no, but she wanted to look at them from a distance. Yes. I paid admission to the zoo so my daughter could look at a horse, 2 cows and some chickens. We could have done that for free down the street!!! But whatevs. I got some fun pictures and she got to hear what a cow's moo really sounds like.
We ended up leaving the zoo after only a couple hours. We were melting so we decided Maze needed to go swimming.
Isn't her little suit so cute?
As you can see, it was a pretty awesome weekend.
I can't stop laughing at this :oD
