These blocks were made for CeLynn over at The Sunflower Patch. This pattern is called Gothic Windows (sounds so dark for such a sunny color). I've always wanted to make Cathedral Windows and I'm thinking this is the same idea. I must say, I've never had to use a glue stick on my quilt blocks before, but since it didn't gunk up my machine the way I thought it would, I'll let it slide! :)
I think they turned out well.
One ended up a little smaller than the other even though I made them at the same time, but it's not too noticeable. Hopefully CeLynn will be able to use them both!
Pretty x

ReplyDeletepretty blocks. Glue sticks are a great tool for quilting, especially applique and paper piecing.
