Really Pinterest? Really?!

So, it has just been brought to my attention that you can't pin from my blog.

What the hizzity?!

I did not set it that way and I don't know how to change it. Does anyone know how to allow pinning from Blogger? If you know, please share with me so people can pin my images!!

Danny

  1. The only thing I can think of is making a back up of your blog html/template and look for the follwoing bit of code:

    meta name=”pinterest” content=”nopin”

that's the bit of code that they developed for people who want to opt out of having their stuff pinned

  2. Danny, I think it's a Flickr setting actually. You need to access your account settings and under privacy/permissions you should change "Allow others to share your stuff" to "yes". The default setting is "no". I have been trying to get Flickr to add in better control for this option with more features (rather than just off and on), but atm I think they are treading water trying to keep up with all of the social media changes that have been occurring lately. I hope this does the trick!

  3. I think it has something to do with flicker too....because the only images you can not pin are your photos...all the buttons and ads are pinable...good luck when you figure it out you'll have to write a post on it : )

  4. Definitely not a Blogger issue. I don't work with Flickr much, but that sounds more like it.

  7. Yup, if you use FLickr to share your pics, you have to set it up to allow others to share. I hope this fixes your problem!
